Jared's Miami Trip

As we sit here in our winter wonderland, Jared and I have enjoyed going through his pictures from this past week. He has started a new rotation teaching at the business school for his company until September. Their kickoff week this past week was in Miami. They went on a boat through the Everglades, saw dozens of alligators, learned about Florida wildlife, and he got to wake up early for a run on Miami Beach to watch the sunrise. He says there was some work going on in there too. 😜That video is so relaxing! He doesn't do social media, but I love these pictures so I'm posting them for safe keeping. 🐊🌅

Cannon's 1 Year Pictures

I tell my kids all the time that I wish I could just freeze them at this point in time (if Cannon would sleep 😴). Since they won't freeze, the best I can do is have pictures to help me remember. I know I post WAY too much, but I don't want to forget. Especially on days like today when they just about run me ragged, I get to look at these sweet faces. Reminds me of why I do the crazy! I just love them to pieces. They aren't perfect, my family isn't perfect, but these pictures are pretty dang close. Too bad you don't get to see Parker's booty shaking photobombs he was pulling. 😂 Cannon had his well check this week and he was 21 lbs. (55%) and 30.5 in (73%). Pretty close to what Parker was at his age. Still the happiest kid on the planet! 👦🏼👦🏼👧🏼👶🏼

Rest of April

Just a couple I forgot to post: Last Friday Parker earned an award at school for "Perseverance". Way to go, Parker! Also, someone please appreciate our ridiculous "diorama" we made tonight for a book project for Brody. He thought it was due next week and realized today that it was due tomorrow. That's a thrown together with things we had around our house kind of project. I'm pretty much loathing anything extra from school lately. I feel like I'm barely keeping up with the minimum! 😬

Capri had her second dance recital today and took on the dentist. I spared you (or her) the video of her with her fingers in her nose for half of a dance. 😂She's a cute tiny dancer and a cavity free one at that! 👏🏻

What April 29th in CO looks like. My kids are off sledding with Jared and Cannon and I came inside to enjoy a fire and hot chocolate. Such a strange, yet wonderful place this Colorado. Keeps us on our toes! ❄️❄️❄️
