Move to CO

Oh man, am I tired of moving. This move was especially tricky because we had to move our belongings from Texas and CA. Randy was so kind to drive our stuff from CA to CO while Jared and I drove our Penske truck from TX to CO. We feel so grateful that we bought a home that was already furnished as it really helped our lack of furniture! We are in love with CO and so grateful for our new home. All of our kids love their rooms and we are settling in nicely!

First walk in the new neighborhood!

The first of many beautiful sunsets from our back deck. One of my favorite parts of our new house.

Mountains and fighter jets on a daily basis. The things that make me happy!

Happy to be HOME!

Thanksgiving and Saying Goodbye to CA

Well, the time finally came to say goodbye to Mimi and Poppi before they went to Sacramento for Thanksgiving. My kids are really going to miss them. They really bonded while we lived with them and I will be forever grateful for the time we had in Bakersfield. We don't live by family very often, so we treasure the times that we do. We love you Mimi and Poppi!
When Mimi and Poppi were pulling away, the kids ran to the end of the block to say goodbye. Parker and Capri came bouncing back, but my big boy had sunken shoulders, teary eyes, and a slow walk. Family is so important to Brody and he will really miss being with Mimi and Poppi. He's such a sweet boy.
We were lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving with the Musick family before we had to move. It was so nice to see extended family and catch up. We got to meet Jared's cousin Sheldan's baby, Phinley! He's a big boy and not that far apart from our Cannon man.
Ice cream date with Gma and P-pops before we moved. These kids have loved spending time with their great grandparents also. I love their little bonds.

Capri loved Aunt Shelley's dog, Biggie Smalls.

We love our cousins! Tessa, Kamryn, Weston, and Rowan.
Saying goodbye to some of our favorite Bakersfield friends--the Huffs. Landon, Weston, Alex, and Drea.
