Blogger App Test

Testing. Testing. I'm trying out something new to try to simplify my life. I have a new iPhone and one of my new apps is a blogger app. Here's my attempt at making a post using my phone and my photos from my phone! If it comes out a little mashed up, that's why!

We are doing well here in Texas! Keeping busy and trying to get this house put together. I'm not sure how to put the pictures into the text yet, so I'll just explain what they're all about.

We got Brody a Settlers of Catan Junior game that is his new favorite thing to do during our one on one time. I'm really trying to spend as much time with him as I can before little baby girl comes. I know I'm a little out of commission for a while and then Brody will be starting school a couple months after that. I'm so excited for him but also very sad not to get to be with him all of the time. He is such a constant, happy guy who is such a big helper with his brother.

The next picture was from our Valentines Day celebration. The night before Brody was so excited and told me all about how he was going to take care of me on Valentines Day. He made such a big deal out of it so I tried to make it special for him. We had heart shaped toast for breakfast, heart shaped sandwiches for lunch, and hart shaped pizza, Oreo cake balls, and IBC Root Beer for dinner. They were so happy--especially with the awesome package from Mimi! It made their day. Hope you all had a great day also!

A  picture from the first box of clothes I bought for baby sister. I had another ultrasound this week (20 weeks--woohoo!) and she's still a girl so I was happy about that! I was going to be a little bummed to have to return these cute clothes. :)

Next is a picture of two happy boys getting ready to open their Valentines box from Mimi.

Next up is a Parker man aka Monkey man climbing at the big boy park.

The next couple are from a little game the boys made up mixing jungle gyms, wrestling, and wipeout. Brody was a better bridge then Parker. Parker kept just sitting down on Brody and thought that was pretty funny!

Next we have an excursion to Best Buy for Mom's iPhone. This is how Dad kept them busy. :)

Lastly, we have two pictures from Target. One is the only other outfit I've bought for baby girl, and the other is Parker and his funny ability to fall asleep anywhere. He slept like that for an hour! Silly guy. One last Parker story so I don't forget. One night Parker was having a particularly hard time going to sleep. I finally decided I'd sit and rub his back for a bit to help him calm down. After a while I got up to leave. I thought he might be asleep but instead he said, "Hey Mom, come here," to which he kissed me on the cheek and said, "thanks Mom. Love you." It was such a sweet thing to do and I'm grateful for that little moment with my energetic little guy.

So, we'll see how this post goes. Hopefully it worked!
