April so far

I didn't feel super great for most of April, so we just survived from day to day! I'm so grateful Jared was able to work from home during that time and didn't have to travel. I was pretty worn out all the time! The first two weeks of April was full of school activities, baseball, taekwondo, and getting ready for baby brother. First up was a kid date with Parker. I took him for his baseball pictures and then let him play at the park until his game. I love watching Parker play baseball. It's adorable! He had a baseball game and then I took him over to Whataburger for some lunch before heading over to a birthday party for a friend from his Kindergarten class. We had a lot of fun hanging out together. When we got to Whataburger, it just so happened to be a Dallas Mavericks spirit day. They had the Mavs mascots and some games and prizes. Parker LOVED this basketball game and thankfully there wasn't a line so he got to play multiple times! He had some of the mascots sign a poster and he thought that was the best thing ever. It's the simple things.

It was also General Conference weekend. We always love Conference and this weekend was not any different. This picture cracks me up. Jared has a unique ability to fall asleep wherever his body happens to land. During Conference it was on the floor. Capri went over and stuck Jessie's hat on Jared and laid Jessie on the floor next to Jared. She said, "Giddy up, Daddy!" and then sat on his back. haha!! She's hilarious. Best part is Jared never had a clue any of that occurred!
Capri really loves to dress up in the boys clothes--especially Brody's sparring headgear. She's a cute little bug!

We also finished out our March Madness brackets. Parker was so into March Madness this year. He could tell you on any given day who had won what game, what the score had been, who was leading the tournament, etc. That boy loves sports and competition. Jared won our family bracket challenge and Parker got second. The rest of us just had fun playing. :)
The boys wanted me to come to lunch one last time before I had baby also. Capri loves going to school to have lunch with the boys. These faces crack me up:

Waiting outside between lunches:
Oh hello puffy pregnant face. She looks darling, though!
It was pizza day so the boys went through the lunch line. They are so nice to Capri and let her tag along in line. She is going to be so ready to go to school when she's finally old enough to go. She thinks she's as big as they are!

This picture is so funny. Parker gets extra homework from his teacher because she knows he likes the challenge and he loves these activities. She sends home an extra book and then asks him to write something about it. Well, he had seen her do a ... at the end of a sentence in class and decided if there's not room for the rest of the sentence, you can just write a "...". ha! Jared says he wishes his work would accept a sentence ending in a ...
Time for Brody's kid date! He was so sweet to his very pregnant mom. He wanted to go to Main Event and to Whataburger (what is it with my kids and whataburger?!) and to the dollar store. We had so much fun together and he gave me a run for my money in air hockey! He reminds me so much of Jared.

We decided to go out for a treat as a family of 5 one last time to celebrate Jared's March Madness bracket and for an early birthday present for Jared since his birthday was going to be less than stellar with a baby coming the next day. We tried out iCream for the first time. It was cool to watch them make the ice cream with dry ice but overpriced and not as good as other places. Made for a fun family activity, though!
Last Sunday before baby. I love dressing up my little daughter. She really is so beautiful to me--inside and out!

36.5 weeks and so done being pregnant!

Can't wait to meet you baby brother!
